With 11 years in the employment service industry, I had a great passion for helping people find their perfect career path. Prior to opening up NEXTAFF of Raleigh in December of 2007, I spent seven years as a Territory Sales Manager for a local staffing agency. During that time, I learned that the employment service industry was where I wanted to be and had an entrepreneurial spirit to go out and create something on my own... well, not totally alone, I have Beth Klatt (who is an amazing business partner, by the way). I fell into the employment services industry by accident but I am so glad that I made it my career. I love the fast-paced environment that this industry provides and the ability to help both companies and employees achieve their best workforce strategy.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree from Peace College in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. A few years later, I married my high school sweetheart and now we have two beautiful children together, Ava Grace and Bennett, and a yellow lab named Molly. I am originally from Wilson, NC but after college I decided to make Raleigh my home. I love this area and am so grateful for all Raleigh and the surrounding areas have to offer.

During my junior year at North Carolina State University, I came across a part-time job in NCSU's school paper. When I applied with the staffing agency that was recruiting for this position they offered me an internal position in their office. I continued to work there as a Recruiter/Operations Manager for seven and half years before opening NEXTAFF in December of 2007. Over the past 12 years, I have focused on treating our candidates and clients with respect and working hard to support them in their search. I truly believe that looking for a job can be an extremely stressful situation and I always try my best to assist in this process. I love having the opportunity to get to know so many wonderful people and thrive on the frenzied, ever changing nature of our industry. I am extremely fortunate to be one of those people that love their job and the people they work with. If anyone had the chance to work with Rachel Reynolds and Mary Caitlin Smith they would love coming to work too!
I am originally from LaPlata, MD and attended North Carolina State University where I obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources. I met my husband, who is originally from IL, in April of 1999 when he was stationed at Fort Bragg in the 82nd Airborne Division. We got married in 2003 and have been blessed with two adorable, yet extremely active, sons. I am excited to be able to call the Triangle my home and also grateful to have the opportunity to not only watch my sons but also our business grow and flourish in this area.

I have been with NEXTAFF of Raleigh a little over a year now and if I could go back and do it differently, I wouldn't. My time here has taught me more than I could have ever imagined. I have learned so many aspects of staffing and the time and effort that it takes to prepare a solid candidate to fit a client's need. As we grow, we are becoming so much more than a staffing agency; we are becoming the solution to workforce problems. I walked in to NEXTAFF hoping I would be given the chance to find the right employer and I did. Rachel Reynolds and Beth Klatt have been not only excellent bosses but have now become a part of my personal family.
I graduated from Peace College in Raleigh in May 2010 with a degree in Psychology and Biology (is this the first thing that comes to your mind in regards to staffing? No, but it works!). I was born in SC and raised in Lumberton, NC but have decided to make Raleigh my permanent residence after spending four amazing years here during college. I haven't had a whole lot of life experiences yet but what I have lived through I'm grateful for all of it. I enjoy music, many television shows, reading and the sport of soccer. I'm currently volunteering my time as a soccer coach to 15 aspiring five year-old soccer players.
