Introducing Kevin O’Neal Prescott
Kevin Prescott’s human resources career spans over a decade. Kevin was part of the original human resources start-up team for one of San Antonio’s favorite amusement parks, Six Flags Over Texas. Throughout his career, he has been active in the service, manufacturing and healthcare industries. Most recently, he served as a HR Leader for America’s largest provider of payroll and payroll related services.
Kevin has delivered over 150 presentations on a variety of business related topics. A few selected programs include, Diversity in the Workplace, Integrity and Ethics, Career Management and The ABCs of Recruiting in a Talent Rich Market.
As an adjunct professor at the University of Texas at San Antonio, Kevin continues to follow his passion for education. In addition to earning his Senior Professional in Human Resources certification (SPHR), Kevin holds a BBA from the University of Texas at San Antonio and graduated with distinction from the University of the Incarnate Word where he holds a Masters in Education with a concentration in Organizational Learning. Kevin is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Education with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from the University of the Incarnate Word.
Kevin is a recurring guest on San Antonio radio to deliver advice on career search techniques for job seekers and provide hiring tips for employers. He is an active volunteer for the San Antonio community. Kevin currently volunteers for the Susan G. Komen “Race for the Cure” and is the Volunteer Coordinator for United Way’s Feast of Sharing event held each December in San Antonio.
